Lorenz von Stein

Lorenz von Stein was born in Germany in 1815.

He was a german economist, sociologist and public administration.

From 1855 until 1885, von Stein was teacher at University of Vienna. His work is considered as the theoretical basis of the internacional science of public administration. And also he influenced the practice of public finance for improve the public administration in the country.

Nowadays we can study about public administration thanks a the theorical basis of this discipline that Lorenz von Stein made in your time.

I know him because I was searching about the history of the study of public administration for my presentation, and also I found  other expert as Federico Guillermo I of Prusia who instituted the lessons of cameralism, it is seen as the ancestor of the modern study of public administration. I also found Charles Jean Baptiste Bonnin, he is the founder of the worldwide science of public administration.
